 Rawlinson Shield 2


The Storws Wen G C, Brynteg will this coming Thursday, May 11th, host the second round of this year's Inter club Seniors team competition for the Rawlinson shield.

 County Team Open Season With A Win


Under the Captaincy of Henllys Hall G C, Beaumaris' Adam Williams the county team opened the season in fine style beating the Denbighshire team by 6 matches to 3 at the Anglesey G C Rhosneigr.

The opening morning foursome matches gave the island team a narrow 2 - 1 lead and a strong all round team performance in the afternoon registered a 4 - 2 success giving Anglesey a well deserved success.

Anglesey face the defending champions Caernarfonshire in the next match at Holyhead G C on Sunday, May 13th - first foursome match teeing off at 9-30 a m.

 County Match Play Championship 2018


The draw for the opening round of this year's County match play Championship has been made - a copy can be seen below.

The matches, played off scratch, have to be played on or before Monday, May 21st.

 Rawlinson Shield Round 1


Baron Hill G C 's best six out of seven team stableford scores took the early lead in this year's competition with a team total of 199 points.

Other team scores were:
Henllys Hall G C 194
Anglesey G C 188
Storws Wen G C 184
Bull Bay G C 180
Holyhead G C 179

Best individual score returned was by Ieuan Roberts of Henllys G C who beat M Lehane of the Baron Hill G C on the last three holes after both competitors had returned scores of 38 points.

The second round of the competition will be played at the Storws Wen G C on Thursday, May 10th.

 Rawlinson Shield 2018


The opening round of this year's inter club Seniors team Championship will be staged at the Henllys G C, Beaumaris this coming Thursday, April 12th.

Teams representing the six Anglesey clubs will compete with each team comprising of seven players, the best six stableford scores counting towards the club's total.

Play will commence at 11:00am - details of the order of play can be found below.
